About Me
Thank you for taking an interest in the dolls available at Rosewood Cottage. Most of my dolls are created in my studio using reproduction molds from famous doll sculptors. I am passionate about Bru dolls from the 1880's but the dolls for sale or classes are modern babies and toddlers. I also make adorable small doll Victorian Christmas ornaments.
I have my Master of Dollmaking Certificate from the Doll Artisan Guild. I give doll classes in my studio and in November 2011, I had my 100th student!
I take orders for custom made dolls and look-alike dolls. Dolls shown in the "Gallery" can be ordered with different styles and colours of hair and your choice of brown, blue or green eyes. The 24" and 28" dolls can be ordered with either sitting or standing legs. They can all be ordered dressed or undressed.
All of the dolls in my gallery have glass eyes and washable, stylable wigs and a strong flexible armature for poseablity. 10" and 20" babies do not have an armature but are weighted with pellets for the feel of a real baby.
